Happy offseason! Please update your contact info when you have a chance.
Teams qualify for regionals based on how they finish at their respective Conference Championships each year. Each of the two women's conferences in the region (Eastern Metro East and Western NY) receives an auto bid for the top finisher at Conference Championships. Strength bids are then awarded to each conference based on the end of season rankings of participating teams who play 10 or more sanctioned games in their regular season. If there are no more ranked teams, the remaining bids will be awarded based on the size of each conference.
This information is used to determine the format of each conference championship, and eventually, the qualifiers for regionals.

The number of bids to Division III Women's Regionals typically varies based on the number of Division III Women's teams participating in the College Series in the region. Those interested in participating in the series must meet the Roster Deadline (March 1st) and register for the series by the College Series Event Participation Confirmation date (~March 25th).
This year, however, all Division III Women's Regionals will be pre-set at 16 teams. If there are 16 or fewer teams participating in the postseason, all will be invited to regionals.
Both the Division I and Division III National Championships Tournaments are being held at the Skagit River Sports Complex on back-to-back weekends in May. This marks the first time that either tournament returns to the Pacific Northwest since 2005. Division III's event will be held on May 17-19, and Division I's event will be the following weekend, May 23-26.
Teams will qualify for nationals based on their finish at the Regional Championships and based on how many bids the Metro East ends up with!
